Pt Cashier

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **To provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance.**:

- **To process customer purchases through cash register, including proper handling of pricing, coupons, rain checks, and cheque authorization.**:

- **To provide a level of service to all customers that meets the Co-operative’s standards in courtesy and efficiency.**:

- **Assistance in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events.**:

- **To maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.**:

- **Other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Ability to work with co-workers and public.**:

- **Must have the desire to learn and perform duties with minimum supervision after training period has been completed.**:

- **Energetic, upbeat nature**:

- **Must be bondable.
