We are growing and as a result, have an immediate opening for multiple Bread Baker's or General Bakers in our Bakehouse located in beautiful sunny Tsawwassen.

What will you do?

You will have the flexibility to be innovative and creative in developing recipes to delight our customers. We currently prepare our signature breads, pastries and baked goods. You will be responsible for preparing our current bakery items while creating new menu offerings. You have sound baking knowledge, can formulate and test recipes and are passionate about baking. The passion you bring to the products you prepare will supply both the store front bakery and our coffee establishments.

We are open 7 days per week so be prepared to be busy in a fun, bustling, team work environment. Shift times are dependent upon the business needs and flexibility is required by both of us We work with employees to ensure your needs and the business needs are met. We work hard to deliver an unforgettable customer experience in a great environment.

Responsibilities include producing to recipe specifications, participate in developing new recipes, scaling and mixing large batches product, ingredient purchase and sourcing, preparing food offerings, prep work and stock management. Maintaining exceptional food quality and safety is our number one priority.

Starting wage is $15.00 hourly with opportunity for increases. You will be entitled to benefits, We provide free coffee and tea base drinks while on shift, 50% discount on food and all other drinks on shift.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 years experience working in baking environment - or we can train anyone with the passion for food.
- A culinary or related certification an asset but we really look for that hands on ability
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 25kg, able to work on your feet for +8 hours.
- Able to communicate and read English.
- Food Safe Level 1
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Flexible availability including weekends.
- You have to be a team player, have a positive attitude and be open to feedback this is how we work so well together

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
