We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our Parking Patrol and Customer Service team, located in downtown Halifax.

**WORK SCHEDULE**:
The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday to Friday. Additional hours or different shifts are occasionally be required as operations dictate. This includes overnight, and weekend shifts, of up to 12 hours in length.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
During your shift, you will be responsible for completing a variety of general cleaning, customer service, and patrol duties at one or more of our parking locations. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Changing garbage's
- Picking up litter
- Sweeping & Mopping
- Wiping down touch points
- Dusting
- On foot, patrol parking lots to conduct enforcement, and provide assistance to customers.
- Take ownership and leadership of the overall parking operations for the locations assigned, while abiding by the standards and norms of Indigo.
- Inspect the parking area to verify that equipment and lighting function properly, that cars circulate without problems, that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot.
- Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation.
- Provide assistance in person and remotely to customers in the use of the automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Employment is conditional on successfully passing a criminal record check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.13 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
