Our client is actively seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our Toronto-based team as a Sign Installer. This role, situated on-site and reporting to the Project & Operations Managers, involves supporting sign production and executing installations in collaboration with construction managers, site managers, and installation crews.

**About the Role / Responsibilities**:

- Install various types of signage, including illuminated letters, 3D letters, sign boxes, lobby, wayfinding, ground, pylon, awning, canopy, and reception signage.
- Service, repair, and rewire electrical illuminated signage.
- Refurbish old signs with new LEDs and transformers.
- Accurately measure sign area surfaces at client sites.
- Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to sites safely.
- Prepare sites for installation by removing old signage, preparing surfaces or structures, and securing electrical connections.
- Ensure effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of the sign.
- Mount and install signs in accordance with safety protocols.
- Clear debris and materials from sites after each installation.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to signs as needed.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assist in other areas of sign production as assigned.
- Perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to work at heights with ladders and Bucket/Crane Truck.
- 1-2 years of experience in sign installation, construction, and related fields.
- Sound understanding of applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
- Manual dexterity.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for out-of-office installations (asset).
- Ability to demonstrate effective listening and verbal skills.
- Basic math skills; knowledge in scale and measurements is essential.
- Capacity to read blueprints plans, use measuring tape, and work with numbers.
- Ability to work with others as a team.
- Journeyman electrician license would be an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours as project schedules demand.
- Ability to multitask and collaborate with multiple teams for simultaneous projects.
- Keen observer, fast learner with excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Sign industry: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
