ROLE: HTST Operator

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

LOCATION: Guelph

We are looking for an HTST Operator to join our Production Team Our HTST Operator is responsible for standardizing milk flavors, homogenization, and operation of the High-Temperature Short Time Pasteurizer. During this process, the operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the facility's second CCP (Critical Control Point) and ensuring it meets all government standards and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Wage: $24.70 - $27.57 per hour commensurate with experience
- Competitive wage grid in place. Increased chance to move up based on skills

things you will do
- Follow operating procedures and be responsible for efficiency, sanitation, good housekeeping and accurate record keeping.
- Ensure that all products are pasteurized and homogenized.
- Monitor the facility's second CCP (Critical Control Point).
- Run and maintain pasteurizer and other related equipment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for batching and processing products.
- Monitor and adjust product composition important to the quality of the product.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
- Perform mathematical calculations to accurately fortify the product.
- Perform all jobs safely and productively.
- Execute tasks to satisfy all Safety, Quality, and Sanitation protocols.
- All relevant tasks assigned by the Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
