**Employment Status**: Seasonal position expected to end on or before November 30th, schedules are job specific. Days, evenings, and weekend shifts.

**About the Position**:
ATS Traffic is looking for Flaggers to join us in Brandon, MB for the 2024 season Flaggers are responsible for directing traffic and ensuring safety on the roads. They signal vehicles when to slow down, stop, and when it's safe to proceed. **ATS Traffic provides all required training and tickets to get you started**

You **must be at least 18 years old**. Please note that this is a safety sensitive position with a **zero tolerance policy for use of marijuana**, medical and recreational.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct traffic through construction zones using a Stop/Slow paddle, hand signals and a two-way radio
- Ensure the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and workers on the site
- Communicate with construction crews and the public to provide traffic control updates
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines established by the company and regulatory authorities

**Qualifications**:

- Your own reliable means of transportation to get to and from the office each day for your shifts
- Ability to lift between 50 and 75 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (preferred)
- Aware of surroundings and ability to follow instructions
- A Valid Class 5 Driver's License and a clean 3 year driver's abstract is an asset but not required for the role.
- **Ability to travel for work out of town, overnight hotel stays required.**:

- A valid Flag Person certificate is an asset, however **ATS covers the cost and provides** **ALL training and tickets to get you started**:
