Nectar Flower Ottawa Delivery Driver is a part-time position long-term stable position with an opportunity to grow. The schedule could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday OR Thursday, Friday, Saturday, up to your choice, with possibility of extra hours as well as guaranteed extra hours and day during big holidays (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's day).

**Main responsibilities are**:

- Preparing routes according to orders address and the most time and gas efficient strategies
- Loading orders, knowing specific of flower/plants transportation rules
- Prompt and safe flower delivery, according to provincial covid regulation, superior customer service
- Communication with the clients and the store staff, when needed on the delivery issues, sending text confirmations
- Pick-up of other supplies orders, other errands (including buying supplies)
- Vehicle service (oil change etc.)
- Expenses records (gas, supplies, oil change etc.)
- Additional cleaning and helping in the store when needed (assistance with garbage, floors, boxes etc.)
- Working afterhours and extra hours during big holidays (Valentine Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas Day)

**Qualities and experience needed**:

- Experienced hand-delivery driver with superior customer service skills and high level of patience and politeness
- Ability to work in fast changing environment, ability prioritize, work under pressure with time sensitive deliveries
- High level of accuracy and safety dealing fragile living products
- Physical capacity work physically and to lift to 40 pounds, not allergic to flowers
- Knowledge of postal codes in Ottawa area (important)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
