Dental Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced Dental Administrator to join our team at our Westwood Dental location. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at our clinic. This is a full time position from Monday - Thursday and alternating Fridays from 9-1. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for dental healthcare, we'd like to hear from you
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Front Desk Management**: Greet and assist patients, answering phone calls, and providing information about our services.
- **Team Communication**: Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a coordinated patient experience.
- **Patient Scheduling**: Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling and efficient use of clinical resources.
- **Insurance Verification**: Verify and process dental insurance claims, including billing and submitting necessary documentation.
- **Billing and Financial Management**: Handle financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and address patient billing inquiries.
- **Patient Records**: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- **Administrative Support**: Assist in administrative tasks to support the dental team, such as managing inventory and ordering supplies.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a dental administrator role or similar administrative positions within dental care
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (Abeldent would be an asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
