- Purpose of this position:_

To assist with construction projects in a manner that does not interfere with the quiet and relaxation of the guests at Ste. Anne’s.

**Key Objective # 1** **- Following direction from the Construction Manager, ensuring the safety and security of the property, assets and co-workers**
- Safe use and understanding of power tools such as saws, drills, hand tools, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment such that they are within normal operating tolerances. Report any broken tools or equipment to your manager as soon as possible so they can be repaired or replaced
- Capable of lifting 50-100 lbs on a regular basis
- Always wear safety boots and use safety glasses, hardhats, fall protection gear, gloves etc. as necessary when working on projects
- Proficient in working with drywall, framing and trim including hanging doors
- Adept at tiling, painting and flooring
- Capable of working with concrete
- Complete all assigned projects and tasks in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Keep your manager in the loop on low materials and issues on the job so they can be corrected in an expedient manner
- Ensure that the property meets all of the four diamond and spa association requirements
- Assist the electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, stone masons and all other building trades from time to time in the execution of your tasks
- Maintain work areas, construction areas and outdoor areas in a safe, neat and orderly condition, ensuring tools, equipment and supplies are easy to locate and are secure
- Assist with the cleanup of all construction areas on a daily basis to ensure the inn always looks its best
- Ensure that the property is safe and properly maintained, routinely inspect the grounds, facilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
