Role Summary
Reporting to the Destination Manager, Southlands, this role is responsible for support during events to ensure that the experience upholds Southlands reputation and standards.
This role is a casual position, which will work primarily on weekends and evenings.
Key Accountabilities
- Assists Destination Manager with preparing and executing community events
- Assist with event set up
- Ensures the storage area is tidy and orderly
- Parking attendant duties as and when required
- Other administrative duties and project work, as assigned

Education & Experience
Have a minimum grade 12 education plus two (2) years customer service experience. Event specific experience is an asset.

- Excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility, and effectively influence customer outcomes and resolutions.
- Detail-oriented and excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments, work priorities and organization needs
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to deliver great results under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
- Able to work weekends and evenings
