**A Snapshot of Your Day**

Youwill be part of our research and development department which has a strongfocus on increasing fuel flexibility such as hydrogen and biofuel. In your roleas Combustion Specialist, you will contribute to the design and operation ofrobust, reliable and highly efficient combustion systems as well as providingday-to-day support for our sales and service organizations. You will beinvolved in the highest level of troubleshooting, failure investigation andleading improvement projects, taking an active role in our high-level supportto service organizations and existing fleets. To achieve this, you’ll use bothcommercial and proprietary calculation tools to analyze data and develop newimproved combustion components.

**HowYou’ll Make an Impact**
- Youwill be involved throughout the development process, from concept through tofinal design
- Youwill guide development tests and evaluate resulting data, using this to developnew methods and working practices
- Basedon your work you will propose changes to the engine configuration to improvecombustion dynamics and emissions, particularly for compatibility with greenfuel where your keen ability to analyze and propose changes will help the teamto improve machine performance
- Youwill have the opportunity to build a large interdisciplinary network thatstretches across the globe, from Europe to North America and Asia, spanningpeople working across the full spectrum from new equipment to service support

**What You Bring**
- Youhave a master's degree or PhD in mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics orenergy
- Youhave great problem-solving skills and appreciate working in a team where youget to be part of developing and streamlining
- Appliedcombustion experience and gas turbine experience is advantageous
- Curiosityto learn and try new methods based on fluid mechanics principles.

Zero or low emission powergeneration and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, anddigitalization of the fleet.
