Annual production of 335 million seedlings makes PRT the largest producer of containerized forest seedlings in North America. We produce trees for customers from British Columbia to Ontario and Michigan to Alabama to Oregon.

**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**
- Safe operation of equipment (Forklift and electric aisle walker )
- Accurate and detailed record keeping
- Build relationships with customers, clients and Customer Support Representatives
- Shipping of stock to customers - as per their explicit instructions
- Arranging trucks as required
- Monitoring stock quality and inventory
- Coordinating checks of stock in off-site cold storage facilities
- Receiving all other materials/supplies with relevant documentation.
- ** This is not a typical warehouse environment. We are a working tree seedling nursery.**:

- Work in various other nursery tasks as needed.

This position will require you to be available to work Saturdays during summer Harvest in June and July. As well as the occasional Saturday in April and May as dictated by customer needs. Outside of the shipping Cold storage period (March to end of July) alternative work on the nursery is available.

**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge Skills & Abilities**
- Valid class 5 drivers license and a valid certification in operating power mobile equipment.( e.g. Forklift, Skid Steer training ) _*if not currently certified must have the ability to acquire certification within 2 months of hiring_
- Demonstrated adherence to safe work practice in a production/farm environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong data entry skills and a keen eye for details
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm and think under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions, and communicate well with clients and customers
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs. regularly and work in all types of weather indoors and out.
