**Project Manager, School of Rehabilitation Science**:
Our research team, within the School of Rehabilitation Science, College of Medicine, is committed to a practice of reconciliation in an ethical space of respect, responsibility, trust, relevance, reciprocity, and relationships that honour Indigenous perspectives, experiences, knowledge, and worldview.

**Primary Purpose**: The **Project Manager** will support the management, implementation, delivery, and assessment of a CIHR-funded Indigenous community-engaged Team Diabetes research project entitled: _Strong Bodies, Spirits, Minds, and Voices ~ Privileging Indigenous Knowledge to Guide Pediatric Type 2 Diabetes Prevention with First Nations and M_é_tis Communities in Saskatchewan. _
- Assisting the project lead with administrative duties related to the management of the program (scheduling, communication, organization, financial management, reporting, writing/editing, note taking, working with the project oversight committee, etc.);
- Supporting the oversight of data collection activities and management of data collected with, in, and by diverse communities and in partnership with community research assistants;
- Assist with management of data, including being responsive to Indigenous data sovereignty principles, and to ensure that data is stored and protected in alignment with REB guidelines;
- Assist with management of grant funds and finances including support with reporting (internally and externally), weekly/monthly fund review, and budget projections throughout the life of the project;
- Community engagement and relationship building - working with First Nation and Métis community partners / organizations, youth, Knowledge Keepers, etc. to ensure the project is guided by Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, and to ensure the voices of community members are elevated, respected, and incorporated throughout all aspects of the research process;
- Managing communication and engagement with academic research team members from diverse disciplines and professions, including liaising with graduate students;
- Knowledge translation - writing, editing, preparing formatting as required;
- Support with manuscript writing, editing, and submitting.

**Education**: A graduate degree in the health sciences or related field is recommended; expertise in qualitative methodology and analysis is an asset.

**Licenses**: A valid drivers’ license and ability to travel for work as needed
- Practice of professionalism, cultural humility, empathy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skills in working well independently and within a team environment
- Excellent organization, planning and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Previous project management experience and/or knowledge of project management will be an asset

**Shift**: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm with flexibility to work outside these hours as position requires.

**Salary**:The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
