**Job Description**:
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Manager or designate, and working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Neuropsychologist provides consultation, assessment and therapy services to inpatients using a variety of modalities and in accordance with professional standards and clinical policies and practices. The Neuropsychologist will take a lead role to provide specialized neuropsychology and rehabilitation services to assigned service areas.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training And Experience**:
Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology, preferably with experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting. Registered with, or eligible for registration with, the College of Psychology of BC Experience short-term treatment and cognitive rehabilitation preferred. Knowledge of and experience with neurological conditions will be a necessary asset. Valid BC Driver's licence.
