Overview:
Perform assigned tasks under the direction of the Mechanical Department Service Supervisor. Service, repair and maintain a wide variety of plumbing and mechanical systems. Safely operate and maintain a well inventoried company service vehicle. Ability to adhere and uphold BML’s Health and Safety policies and procedures. Participate in BML’s 24/7 service program on a rotating schedule. It is a condition of employment that you obtain Local UA 67 membership required upon hiring. Wages, pension and benefits and all other terms of employment will be as per Local UA67.

**Responsibilities**:
Previous experience in service plumbing in the ICI sector, including repairs to various piping systems, operation of drain clearing/cleaning equipment, diagnosis and repair to faulty fixtures, diagnosis and repair of plumbing and hydronic system equipment. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent attention to detail in writing up work orders upon completion. Safety conscience individual who respects and adheres to all safety measures. Strong work ethic with impressive mechanical problem solving/troubleshooting skills. Hardworking individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within their position. Ability to work individually but also within a team. Positive and professional attitude and appearance.

**Skills**:Red Seal trade qualification required with current Skilled Trades of Ontario registration. Driver’s license with clean abstract required to drive company vehicles. Able to work at heights with all necessary safety training completed (current Working at Heights training)

The following certifications are considered to be an additional asset: current WHMIS 2015, Lock Out/Tag Out, MOL Worker awareness training, Confined space certification, Elevated work platform (Scissor lift / articulating boom operation), Forklift operation, First Aid, Transportation of dangerous goods, Back flow testing, G1 / G2 gas fitter certification.

Pay: $49.11 per hour
