Junior Planner

**Position Overview**

We are looking for a motivated Junior Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring the schedules of several production cells and making sure that all deadlines are met.

**Essential Job Function**
- Evaluate demand and create a suitable production schedule.
- Promptly inform the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
- Work closely with Procurement to ensure on-time raw materials.
- Work with other Planners to ensure a balanced schedule.
- Monitoring production processes
- Establish and maintain comprehensive and accurate files and records and prepare concise and complete reports.
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Communicate both orally and in writing clearly and concisely.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
- Other work as necessary

**Requirements**:

- A post-secondary diploma in a related field preferred
- 1-year experience of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems an asset
- Ability to understand blueprints and other technical drawings an asset

**Work Conditions**
- Listening and speaking to exchange information in person and on the telephone.

- Repetitive tasks within a fast-paced environment.
