Halfway Bar Attendant

**Position Summary**:
The Royal Ottawa Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for a Halfway Bar Attendant to join the Royal team. The Halfway Bar Attendant will act as a key member of the Kitchen Team. Reporting to the SousChef/Chef, the Halfway Bar Attendant will be responsible quickly and accurately delivering on routine Kitchen deliverables to Members and Guests out on the course. The Halfway Bar Attendant plays a key role within the Kitchen team as they are the face of the Kitchen to Members and guests.

The Halfway Bar Attendant is primarily responsible for ensuring a quick and efficient delivery of food and beverage needs. The position requires an immense work ethic, professionalism, enjoys working in a team, yet is often left unsupervised. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a fast-paced work environment. Good communication, cleanliness, and organizational skills are also required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for daily Halfway Bar inventory counts;
- Clean and maintain the Halfway Bar facilities, equipment and utensils as necessary;
- Handle and maintain cash float when required;
- Responsible for presenting food and consistently exceeding Club service standards;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a Kitchen setting is required;
- Availability to make a large variety of sandwiches and fast food;
- Able to prepare salads and sandwich mixtures;
- Knowledge of common kitchen sanitary procedures;
- Knife skills are an asset;
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays

**Hourly rate : $14.25-20.34/hour**

**Experience**:
