**Position Overview**:
Assists the members of the Surgical Complex with duties which relate to patient care.

**Experience**:

- Previous related experience preferred.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Grade 12.
- Health Care Aide certificate is required.
- CSRST certificate is an asset.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with MHC Policy #A30-30.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Works within the Centre's core values, philosophy, vision, C.Q.I. goals, policies and procedures.
- Adheres to the policy regarding personal health information.
- Able to work cooperatively with patients, visitors and coworkers.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing education and participates in professional activities for personal and professional growth.
