Halifax, Canada URBN PUP Pet Services Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily care, including feeding, walking, and playtime
- Administer medication and follow any other special instructions as needed
- Keep accurate records of all pet-related activities
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or injury and report any concerns
- Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for pets
- Clean up after pets, including litter boxes and waste cleanup
- Ensure pets are safe and secure at all times
- Provide daily updates on the pets' well-being
- Provide fear-free handling and behaviour modification techniques for pets with anxiety or fear issues

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of _2 years of experience_ as a pet sitter or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of pet care and safety
- Experience with providing fear-free handling and behavior modification techniques for pets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Please note: this position is contract work only - not full time employment**

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: Up to $30.00 per hour
