Since 1999, The Surveillance Shop has grown into one of the largest video surveillance integrators in Canada. The Surveillance Shop is looking to fill a position for a Junior Security Technician that will be responsible to assist with the installation and service of our full line of surveillance, access control & alarm products.

We are looking to invest in people who are motivated, self starters with a strong aptitude towards technology that are looking to develop a career for themselves in the security industry.

**Responsibilities include: You will be training to do the following**:

- Perform installations including cabling, mounting, and setup of network devices
- Diagnose and repair issues (service calls)
- Train clients
- Daily Reporting
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the clients
- Frequent overnight travel may be required

**Qualifications include**:

- Basic understanding of networking and computers
- Basic understanding of hand tools and drills
- Must be comfortable with working at heights (extension ladders, aerial lifts)
- Ability to communicate with customers
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record and a vehicle
- Clean criminal record
- Desire to grow and develop into a Lead Technician role and beyond

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Electrical wiring: 1 year (preferred)

- Driver's License (required)
