Painter/inspector/assembler

**We Are Looking For**:
We are looking for an experienced _**Painter/Inspector/Assembler**_ to join our dedicated team on the day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm). This role will work out of our 87,000 sq. ft. facility located in Puslinch, ON.
- Please note that our facility is not accessible by bus._

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Prep material for spray paint (brushing, masking, washing off, etc.)
- Maintain spray equipment, spray booth and paint kitchen to achieve optimum performance. This includes collecting waste residue and preparing for disposal
- Prepare requisitions for required paint and paint supplies
- Use inspection sheets to visually inspect and ensure all finished product meet customer requirements and specifications (checking for welds, visual paint checks, etc.). Report defects and arrange rework as necessary
- Complete and organize quality control documents
- Count, weigh, measure, palletize, and/or package product and material to shipping specifications and requirements
- Use various hand tools to prepare products for shipment
- Assist in the Assembly department as required
- Operate bridge crane, forklift and other material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work area as well as work as efficiently as possible

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year of experience spray painting
- 1 year of experience in assembly or inspection role
- Experience working in a fast paced custom steel fabrication setting
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapting to change and work under pressure
