Janitor

**NWP is recruiting for a Janitor Monday to Thursday, 20 hours a week, with flexibility in start and end times.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow standard janitorial cleaning schedules and complete daily and weekly duties
- Cleaning of washroom facilities, first aid station, lunchroom and kitchen areas, in the shop and office.
- Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment. ,
- Ensure stock levels of essential items are maintained and follow proper ordering procedures.
- Follow proper reporting procedures for safety events (hazards, incidents & injuries) and maintenance issues.
- Other duties, as advised by direct supervisor

**Key Role Qualifications & Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in janitorial duties
- Current WHMIS 2015 certificate is an asset
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing

**Working Conditions**:

- Monday to Thursday, 20 hours/week, times are negotiable.
- Steel toed boots required when working in the shop
- Exposure to various fumes when in the shop facilities

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
