Founded in 1994, Breakfast Club of Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing services and funding to school breakfast programs across the country. We work with partners from all sectors to deliver a high-quality national school food program. Together, we create a nurturing environment, where children and youth can access the nourishment they need to succeed and flourish. Our organization has grown tremendously over the years, but our desire to see children thrive has remained constant.

**THE POSITION**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage and moderate the Club’s social media channels on a daily basis.
- Develop content for corporate partner visibility initiatives, school visits, events and other purposes.
- Develop and regularly update the content calendar.
- Manage and interact with online communities: answer questions, fuel discussions and promote engagement.
- Update and optimize the Club’s website and integrate content.
- Monitor the Club’s brand on an ongoing basis.
- Stay up on the latest social media trends.
- Work closely with other members of the Communications and Marketing team.
- Issue weekly and monthly reports.
- Perform other tasks as required to ensure the team continues to run smoothly.

**SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in communications or relevant experience.
- Three or more years of experience in social media, content creation and community management.
- Excellent digital writing skills in French.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Experience in managing websites.
- Familiarity with WordPress (CMS).
- Keen understanding of social media platforms and the unique strengths of each; ability to adapt writing style to connect with different audiences.
- Knowledge of social media management tools (Agorapulse, HubSpot, etc.);
- Knowledge of Canva or other graphic design platforms (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Temporary position (15 months, with possibility of extension).
- Full time (Monday to Friday).
