Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Coop

We are currently seeking talented, energetic individuals to join the Operations team at our Milton facility.

The position will be reporting to both our Quality Manager and Health, Safety and Environment Manager. You will be responsible for completing projects within these two departments. You will have duties such as:
Quality responsibilities:

- Be the liason for Quality on the planning and implementing trials
- Review in process and inspection data - report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), including product analysis on water repellence, thermal resistivity, fire performance and mechanical properties
- Assist in developing safe work procedures
- Responsible for co-ordinating or performing nonroutine testing requests on Product development, process development, and material trials
- Implementation of a green house gas monitoring program including sampling, coordinating testing and maintaining records
- Assist in running of an XRF testing

Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities:

- Chemicals Management inventory and compliance with standards
- Assist in completing LOTO program for packaging area
- Help organize safety compliance training with outside vendors
- Organise pre-start review documents
- Assist in collecting environmental sustainability data
- Ensure month fire protection and prevention audits are done by contractors

You have good communication and presentation skills; are a team player: able to provide input and collaborate on projects with other team members; multitasking skills; self-motivated; and a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Project)
