Alta Care Resources provides Collaborative Service Delivery; this service is focused on child-centered outcomes and family-centered services to promote collaborative practices between Children Services staff and contracted services providers like Alta Care Resources. It is a model that builds upon the strengths of all stakeholders involved with a family and is practiced within the spirit of partnership.

The Resiliency Project provides a wide spectrum of services to meet the unique needs of children, youth, and families at risk. Resiliencies that strengthen families and enhance permanency opportunities are discovered and nurtured through relational interventions.

The **_Resiliency Support Worker_** will provide:

- in home supports to parents and families involved with Children’s Services, developing the family’s ability to maintain safety, wellbeing, lifelong connections and supports; generally visiting the family one or two times a week in the family home or in the community.
- Family Time Visits to parents that currently do not have access to their children, transporting children to and from the visit and maintaining safety and/or wellbeing of the children during the visits.
- One on one support for youth in the community. They will establish goals that are identified using the appropriate assessments and support the youth in accomplishing those goals.

**Qualifications**
- A degree, diploma or fully certified within their field of practice or are actively enrolled in a program, or equivalent
- Related experience an asset
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
- Demonstrated skills in high-stress or conflict situations
- A reliable vehicle and Driver’s License with proof of appropriate insurance, and a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits

**Other Requirements**: A current, clear Police Information Check (vulnerable sector included) and Child Intervention Record Check, both dated within the last 6 months. A valid AB driver’s license (minimum class 5), proof of appropriate insurance, a Drivers Abstract and Insurance Claim letter that reflects safe driving habits.

**Schedule**:Your will be scheduled Saturday and Sunday, working 10 hour shifts per day within any agency programs.

**Work Conditions**
- Ability to engage in physical activities with persons served
- Significant lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
- Interacts with support staff and the public at large
- **Must be able to safely perform restraints**
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Travel is required, staff provide their own reliable vehicle at all times
- Irregular hours and available after hours
- Self-directed team
- Fast paced and dynamic environment

**Compensation**
- **Base Salary Rate $49,920 ($24.00/hour)**
