Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently recruiting for a Short Haul Driver to join our team in Edmonton.** **This individual is responsible for the distribution of our product within the Edmonton area. They will have the ability to drive safely and have knowledge of the Edmonton area. They will bring excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal with challenging customers/situations. They will need to have a “customer first” attitude and above average skills in customer service. Experience with driving a 5 ton truck and warehouse experience would be considered an asset.

**In this position, you will be responsible for**:

- Determine condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspection, and reporting requirements to Manager
- Offloading window and doors at customer sites
- Accuracy of deliveries
- Proper procedure to handling product
- Maintain safe vehicle condition and protect load by complying with AWW Policies/Procedures, Highway Rules and Regulations
- Return all shipping documents to appropriate Supervisor on completion of deliveries

**Primary Qualifications Required**:

- Valid Class 5 license, Class 1 an asset
- 2-3 years’ experience driving a 5 ton truck
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting of 100 lbs
- Must have solid customer service skills
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
- Must pass pre-employment Physical Testing
- Must be willing to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract

Hours of work will be 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
