Electronic Bench

MOBIA is currently recruiting a Electronic Bench & Field Technician to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. With a passion for coordination, technology, and customer service you will be an integral part of a customer focused team with great attention to detail and respect for a job well done.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment to the component level
- Inspection and testing of telecom systems
- Identifying failures of telecom systems
- Diagnosing and configuring IP radios, switches, and routers
- Perform on-call field support as part of a scheduled team rotation
- Other duties as required

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in electronics or telecommunications, or relevant experience
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or similar
- Experience in component level repairs
- Experience with Radio systems (Microwave, Mobile or Cellular)
- Experience repairing routers and of switches is an asset
- Ability to use different tools and test equipment used to perform repairs (ex: soldering iron, multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer)
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
- Good manual skills and dexterity, resourcefulness, autonomy, precision, thoroughness
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of low and intermediate power converters, power supplies and inverters
- 3 years of driving experience in Canada, along with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills
