Service Plumber

**Overview**

We are searching for a motivated, personable and dependable Service Plumber in the Sea to Sky Corridor, who is experienced in the commercial plumbing industry.

To be successful in this position, it's essential that you're flexible with service calls outside regular hours, capable of performing under pressure, and have a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

The position entails executing a diverse range of tasks, including emergency repairs and scheduled service work. Responsibilities encompass addressing issues spanning from hydronic equipment maintenance to the upkeep of drainage systems, as well as troubleshooting complex plumbing issues.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Hande a variety of plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally.
- Install, maintain and repair pipes, drainage systems, plumbing fixtures, and hydronic systems.
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify problems and recommend preventative maintenance measures.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Collaborate alongside HVAC technicians, electricians, and other professionals.
- Provide customers with estimates in accordance with company policies.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Participate in the on-call schedule, including after-hour emergency callouts.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Valid Red Seal designation in the trade of Plumbing.
- Valid Class B Gas Fitter certification.
- 5+ years of experience as a Plumber.
- Good working knowledge of plumbing and hydronic systems.
- Proficiency in operating plumbing equipment and tools.
- Must already reside in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and patience.
- Physical dexterity.
- Flexibility with schedule.
