**Inventory Requirements Planner - Job Description
Noel Asmar Group is looking for a talented and passionate Inventory Requirements Planner that will help us ensure a steady flow of finished goods inventory to meet forecasted demand. This part time position is primarily responsible for ensuring item master integrity, setting safety stock levels, identifying lead times, reviewing inventory levels at all warehouses, and setting inventory turns targets.

To be successful as an Inventory Requirements Planner, you need a solid understanding of various supply chain management processes, and proven experience using MRP/ERP systems.

Ideally you possess excellent analytical skills, are proficient in MS Excel data modeling, and have good communication skills. The ability to manage tasks as per the deadline and exceptional decision-making abilities are essential for this role.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will:

- Establish sales forecast in collaboration with the Sales Department.
- Analyze customer demand, manufacturing lead times, transit time, MOQ’s, open Sales Orders, open Purchase Orders, reorder quantities, and on-hand inventory to create an inventory reorder plan that meets forecasted demand and increases inventory turns.
- Monitor item master data integrity and update as required.
- Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Manage inventory accuracy.
- Set economic order quantities (EOQ) by SKU.
- Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
- Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy.
- Create reports on inventory position, including in-stocks, backorder, weeks of supply, and other key metrics.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

You have:

- 5+ years’ supply chain management experience
- Operations Management Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management or Logistics. APICS certification a plus
- Solid ERP system experience
- Experience in requirements planning for apparel
- Solid understanding of requirements planning by sales channel - B2B and D2C
- Strong knowledge and experience with Excel and Power BI experience an asset
- Effective time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Outstanding analytical skills, data-driven thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Work well in a team as well as independently.
