**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a Post Secondary Program preferred
- Graduate of Health Sciences Program preferred
- Completion of Minimal Lift Training preferred or required within three (3) months of hire

**Skill, Ability and Experience**:

- Ability to meet the physical demands of this job required
- Basic proficiency in the use of computers required
- Demonstrated ability to function productively and independently in a very demanding environment with proven organizational, and problem-solving skills required
- Recent experience working in a Healthcare environment preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

**Principal Duties**:

- Responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness of patient care and work areas relevant to the needs of the department
- Restock and order supplies for the department
- Transports patients, supplies and equipment as required by the department
- Assists technologists with patients, including patient lifts
- Completes reception and clerical tasks applicable to the needs of the department
- Ensures staffing requirements of the unit(s) are met
- Participates in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives
- Completes continuing education requirements as necessary
- Other related duties as assigned
