**Responsibility**:

- Provide short-term therapy services to individuals 12 years of age and older.
- Offer individual, couple and family therapy services.
- Offer single session model by emphasizing brief solution focus approach to individual. (Training will be provided for the single session therapy model)
- Provide counselling in mental health, trauma, domestic/family violence, and sexual abuse/assault.
- Performs administrative tasks such as, keeping clinical files up to date, writing progress notes, reports and letters of support.
- Attend meeting and committee meeting with community partner agencies.

**Requirements**:

- Master or Bachelor of Social Work and/ or Psychology or equivalent education (preferred)
- Social Service Work (required)
- Must be a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or a member of the Ontario College of Psychotherapists.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Good knowledge and experience of intervention in various issues.
- Ability to assess client needs and develop a treatment plan based on intervention best practices.
- Clinical skills in the areas of mental health, trauma, domestic/family violence, and sexual abuse/assault
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, highly organized, problem-solver and team player.
- Criminal record check to work with vulnerable persons is required.
- Must provide government-issued evidence of receipt of 2nd Health Canada approved Covid vaccination dose at least fourteen (14) days prior to your start date, or evidence that you qualify for a human rights exemption.
- The therapist will be working from the TFCC agency.
- **Bilingual therapist (French / English).**
