**You as a Field Personnel Manager will**:

- Lead the recruitment and hiring process for hourly construction workers
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure workers have the necessary skills to perform their job duties safely and efficiently
- Monitor and manage the performance of field personnel, working through project superintendents
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including union representatives
- Collaborate with superintendents and project leaders to ensure that projects are properly staffed and that the necessary resources are available to complete projects on time and within budget
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements
- Manage payroll and employee benefits programs for field personnel
- Ensure that all personnel have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their job duties safely and effectively
- Resolve personnel issues and conflicts as they arise

**Is this the right role for you?**
- Minimum of 10 years experience working in construction as a skilled tradesperson
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations
- Familiarity with construction software and project management tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Experience in collective bargaining and unionized environments
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
