Custodial Guard

**CUSTODIAL GUARD - RCMP (casual)
- n a casual basis at various times on weekends, days and evenings at the RCMP
Detachment.

T his position involves responsibility for guarding prisoners in the detention area of the
RCMP Detachment. This includes monitoring prisoners, accurately maintaining and
documenting records, and performing janitorial functions within the cell block area.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

- Completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent)
- Previous related police custodial and/or security experience
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification (or equivalent)
- Current CPR-C certification
- processing equipment- Ability to obtain and maintain the required RCMP security clearance

Shortlisted applicants will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment
fitness test and security clearance process. The rate of pay for this position is $32.19
per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits.
