**General Summary**:
The purpose of this role is to analyze, forecast, demand and recommend necessary adjustments to production plans at the plant level. The role is also responsible for responsible for finished goods ordering and monitoring activities to ensure that customer demands are met at all times. The Demand Planner will communicate critical items or shortages to supply chain members and develop alternate solutions.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Continuously analyze and evaluate current Finished Goods inventory to avoid market shortages.
- Share monthly production plans from different production sites.
- Define and implement demand strategy for optimum batch size,
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process incorporating stakeholder input from Sales, Marketing and Finance.
- Develop a back order shortage report and confirm plant’s availability.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process.
- Improve relationships among planners, sales, marketing and finance, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company.
- Communicate shortages or critical items required to execute committed plan (supply vs. commit).
- Manage and monitor potential short dated inventory to avoid obsolesce.
- Meet on a monthly basis with respective teams to review sales and future opportunities.
- Monthly S&OP’s meeting with respective plant’s to review master production schedule.
- Manage consignment inventory with customers.
- Manage Logistics infomation and clearance
- Manage import permits for Controlled drugs
- Manage Inventory analysis and reconciliation on monthly basis
- Develope a dashboard of performance

**Other duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining constant relationship with the plants
- Review Month on Hand, update comments as required.
- Complete all GMP Documentation correctly and in a timely manner
- Complete all training assignments and maintain personal training records
- To work with the plant’s validation team to confirm validation and exhibit batches status.

- Effective interpersonal skills with strong ability in developing business and cross functional relationships.

- Demonstrated negotiation skills with the goal of reaching outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
