**Experience**:

- Experience working in direct patient care area required.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Completion of grade 12 or equivalent required.
- "Friends and Family Training" required.
- Non-violent crisis training or equivalent required.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:

- Health Care Assistant Certification required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Demonstrated excellent communication skills with a patient focused approach required.
- Well organized individual.
- Excellent deportment.
- Ability to perform the position on a regular basis.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Considerable strength and the ability to withstand continuous extensive lifting and moving.
