Masonry Labourer

Glenn Houle Custom Masonry is seeking a hard working Masonry Labourer with integrity, a strong desire to learn new skills and an eye for the highest levels of quality to contribute to our team. A labourer will perform daily masonry tasks at various construction sites around the Central Vancouver Island region and other locations as required. These activities will include loading and moving masonry materials, preparing mortar, cutting, preparing and staging various types of natural stone and brick for install and setting up scaffolding.

This individual will be an important member of Glenn Houle Custom Masonry and will be able to grow with the company as thier skill set grows.

Job Requirements;
- High school diploma or GED with preference given to applicants with construction or masonry experience.
- Must have basic tools and transportation
- Great listening and communication skills
- Must be able to multi task in a fast-paced and extremely quality focused environment
- Experience working safely with hand and power tools.

Job Responsibilities;
- Show up on time and be ready to work.
- Mixing and preparing mortar and Installation of stone, brick, block and pavers.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees and customers
- other duties as they apply

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nanaimo, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers licence (required)
