**Who we are?**

Westward Vehicles manufactures Electric Utility Vehicles for fleets right here in St. Boniface. Casual atmosphere with engaged owners. Strong focus on US market development as well as Canadian growth.

Westward has recently been expanding its models and in turn needs to add a dedicated, enthusiastic, and numbers driven member focusing on inventory procurement.

**What will you do?**
- Manage the whole PO process from input to sourcing, evaluating, and vendor communications
- Maintain our vehicle build of materials
- Learn and use daily our SAP business one MRP program
- Review technical aspect of drawings when ordering from with new and existing suppliers
- Purchasing analysis of all mechanical and electronic parts
- Expediting and tracking of orders to ensure timely delivery
- Performing data analysis weekly or bi-weekly of all items for the production pipeline
- Negotiating with suppliers, local and overseas, to stay on top of timelines and if possible cost improvements
- Entering purchase order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and flow of goods. Help warehouse staff when large shipments need organizing.

**To be successful**
- Have proficiency in Excel
- Ideally have some prior working knowledge of our ERP, SAP business one. Not required.
- Secondary education in business or inventory an asset. Engineering background may also be useful.
- A few years of similar work experience is preferred
- Mechanical background an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
