Cassidy Manufacturing, a newer and modern CNC Machine Shop established in 2007 and located in Winnipeg. We are a service -oriented metal and cast-iron manufacturer, serving customers mainly in the agriculture sector.

We are **GROWING** and looking to expand all our shift teams, days, evenings and the overnights. If you are an experienced CNC Machine Operator looking for full time, permanent work with an organization that values its people, then this is your opportunity
- Please note _**we are not located on a local transit route**_, access to reliable transportation is required._

**CNC Operator Requirement & Skills**:

- Operate vertical mill & vertical mills with a rotary axis
- Operate horizontal mills
- Operate 2 and 3 axis lathes
- Familiar with Fanuc style controls
- Ability to read interpret engineering drawings & blueprints
- Complete regular quality checks using calipers, micrometers, bore micrometers, height gauges, go/no go plug and thread gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy of parts
- Ability to adjust tool offsets to ensure dimensional accuracy of parts
- Ability to follow instruction and work independently and in a team environment
- Computer literate, use Windows 10 workstation and Microsoft Excel ( for data entry)
- Observe machine settings and detect any problems in an operation
- Adjust machines to maintain tolerance of parts
- Complete basic editing of a program
- Make tool changes when required
- De-burr and/or assemble parts when required
- Reliable and daily attendance

**Qualifications**
- Current and Proven Experience working as a CNC operator in a metal manufacturing environment
- Current and Proven Experience operating CNC mills or lathes in a metal manufacturing environment
- Proven Experience working with micrometers, calipers and gauges
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Good proficiency with written and spoken English (required for reading, interpreting, and giving/following English work instructions/documents)
- High-school/secondary school education or equivalent is an asset

**Salary**: $16.32-$23.25 per hour plus $1.00 / hour shift premium

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
