Homewood Suites by Hilton Toronto Vaughan is centrally located in the Toronto-Vaughan business district, just 15 minutes from the Pearson International Airport and 25 minutes from downtown Toronto, Ontario. Subway service to downtown Toronto and points of interest is available from the nearby Vaughan Metropolitan Centre station.

**Homewood Suites by Hilton **is looking for someone with strong customer service skills and hotel front desk experience to join our team as a **Guest Service Agent**

**What will you be doing?**
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
- Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location; prepare for group check-in and out and VIP arrivals; become informed of events/ functions in the hotel during the shift.
- Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests; promotes hotel services, facilities, and outlets; provide guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction. Make appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction.

**What are the requirements for this role?**
- At least one (1) year of guest service experience at a hotel
- Strong communication/customer service skills as a significant amount of time are spent interacting with guests
- Available to work any shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight when required
