As a Landscaping Helper, you will provide crucial support to the landscaping team in maintaining outdoor spaces and enhancing their aesthetic appeal. Your role involves assisting with various tasks such as planting, mulching, weeding, and general landscaping duties under the supervision of experienced landscapers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of outdoor landscapes, including residential properties, parks, and commercial grounds.
- Participate in planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation according to landscape plans and design specifications.
- Help with the installation of sod, mulch, and other ground cover materials to improve soil quality and enhance visual appeal.
- Perform weeding and removal of unwanted vegetation from flower beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas using hand tools and equipment.
- Support irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair activities as needed to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Aid in the installation and maintenance of hardscape features such as walkways, retaining walls, and patios.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools.
- Help with the cleanup of debris, leaves, and other waste materials from landscaped areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during landscaping tasks and equipment operation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work activities, report progress, and address any concerns.
- Maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn while contributing to the success of the landscaping team.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or related field is desirable but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, soil types, and landscaping techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and acquire new skills in landscaping and horticulture.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the job requirements.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and power tools safely and effectively.

**Salary**: $16.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
