Skyrise Media Society is seeking three talented and passionate Journalists to join our team, focused on creating engaging and impactful video content. As Journalists, you will play a vital role in presenting accurate information, understanding our audience, and delivering stories that resonate with the communities we serve. **Responsibilities**:

- Research, investigate, and gather relevant facts for video content production, ensuring accuracy, and objectivity.
- Present compelling stories through video, showcasing a deep understanding of journalistic ethics and standards.
- Identify and report on stories that are relevant to our target audience, demonstrating a keen understanding of community needs.
- Remain unbiased and separate personal beliefs from reporting, maintaining professional judgment at all times.
- Serve the public interest by fearlessly reporting on stories that may have an adverse impact on those in positions of power.
- Collaborate with a team to brainstorm, plan, and execute video projects that inform and engage our viewers.
- Conduct interviews, track down sources, and gather on-site footage.
- Adapt to different working environments, both within the office and out in the field, as dictated by the nature of the story.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in video content production, journalism, or related roles, demonstrating strong storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in shooting and editing videos, utilizing industry-standard software and equipment.
- Excellent research, interviewing, and fact-checking skills.
- Understanding of audience engagement and the ability to tailor video content to resonate with specific communities.
- Strong ethical foundation and the ability to maintain objectivity and journalistic integrity.
- Willingness to travel, track down sources, and work in various locations to gather crucial details for stories.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with media law, ethics, and industry best practices.
- Experience with social media platforms and multimedia storytelling is a plus.
