Youth Program Instructors

Are you an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children aged 4 - 12? If you are creative and have an interest in teaching special skills or hobbies to youth and are looking for a way to connect with your community then the TCAG is the place for you.

We are currently hiring for the following youth program instructors:

- Dance Fusion - Thursday evenings 6:10pm to 6:55pm
- Substitute Instructors for all programs

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in dance and instructing youth dance classes.
- Experience working with youth.
- Ability to manage behaviours while instructing.
- Leadership, planning and organizational skills.
- Available one evening a week for an hour class.
- Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a program related to working with youth is an asset.
- High Five Certification is an asset.
- First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset.
- **Police Vulnerable Sector check no older than 6 months.**

Please note that our recreation and leisure programs run all year round with the exception of closures due to statutory holidays. We are also hiring substitute instructors to cover vacation and sick time.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week

**Experience**:

- working with youth: 1 year (preferred)
- dance: 1 year (preferred)
- teaching youth dance classes: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
