Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Public Relations Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of public relations and communications. As a Public Relations Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our PR team and gain exposure to various aspects of public relations.

**Duties**:

- Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials
- Conduct research on media outlets and compile media lists
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events, including press conferences and product launches
- Support the development and execution of social media strategies
- Monitor media coverage and compile media reports
- Assist in maintaining relationships with media contacts
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for press materials
- Assist in creating content for company blog and website
- Support the PR team in day-to-day administrative tasks

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in public relations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong research skills
- Strong project management skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to supervise and coordinate tasks with others
- Experience in data collection and analysis is a plus

This is a paid internship position that offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of public relations. We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment where interns can develop their skills and gain practical experience.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
