**What you’ll do**

Seeking a results-oriented customer centric leader who can champion the development of CTC’s Advanced Analytics, Modelling, and Experimentation function. The primary focus of this team is to develop analytics solutions, which inform decisions and help achieve the strategic goals of our Retail organization. This role is critical in the delivery of advanced modelling, experimentation design, and measurement.

The AVP, Advanced Analytics, Modelling, and Experimentation is expected to work with a variety of colleagues and partners to achieve business outcomes that require a mixed use of virtual and CTC campus presence.
- Develop a deep understanding of our Retail businesses and Loyalty Program. Establish the credibility required to influence business decisions which rely on analytics, modelling, and experimentation.
- Lead development of advanced quantitative and statistical analysis of retail and loyalty data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve business performance.
- Establish robust measurement practices, utilizing latest technologies and advancements in machine learning to provide timely insights to decision makers.
- Build and deploy Machine Learning/Deep Learning models which can adapt to constantly evolving data and problem sets.
- Seek out opportunities to infuse statistical learning to support the decision-making process for clients, strategic initiatives, and key business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and key senior business leaders. Become an influential partner to solve business problems and support strategic decision making.
- Provide creative solutions, recommendations and timely advice that synthesize business needs and analytical/modelling concepts.
- Facilitate business reviews and quarterly meetings with senior executives to highlight analytical results, and the impact they have on current/future business processes.
- Build a knowledgeable, engaged, and aligned analytics, modelling, and experimentation team. Foster the development of talent and establish systems to ensure career progression within your portfolio of teams, Decision Support, and the analytics community within CTC.

**What you bring**
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Statistics/Math/Economics/Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline
- 7+ years experience leading analytical functions within large organizations, preferably within the areas of analytics, machine learning, modelling, measurement, and experimentation.
- Deep understanding of Statistics and Measurement principles.
- Exceptional people leadership demonstrated in complex and dynamic organizations - proven track record of managing a large portfolio of highly technical staff.
- Strong quantitative and statistical skills (regression/prediction, ML/DL techniques, statistical learning, model inference, model validation)
- 7+ years working experience with analytical tools and languages, including SAS, Python, R or MATLAB.
- 7+ years interpreting, synthesizing, and presenting complex models and analysis to senior business leaders.
- Significant applicable experience leading teams which work within complex data environments. Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and navigating technical requirements to enable data pipelines for ML/DL models.
- Sound knowledge of db technologies; able to communicate with staff to challenge processes and solution complex problems.
- Seasoned experience in developing and driving analytics strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate both technical and business concepts, as well as strong presentation skills.
- Strategically minded data and analytic professionals, who can navigate within an environment of change and ambiguity.
- Motivated problem solver who works well within a fast-paced environment. Capable of overseeing multiple complex measurement and modelling functions while meeting the demands of clients and senior business leaders.
