IT Specialist

**Information Technology Specialist**
Location: Central Services

Temporary position to fill a leave of absence

**6 month minimum position, with possibility of extension**
37.5 hours weekly

This position will also work to ensure information is confidential, reliable and available which helps to deliver technology services to an agreed-upon level of quality. You will implement policies and controls to ensure that infrastructure is available, reliable and resilient.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Diploma, degree or certificate from a recognized institution related to computer technology, equivalent experience, or a combination of both
- Experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Experience with working in TCP/IP networks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to work as a team player with limited supervision
- Ability to function and troubleshoot within a school-based environment
- Must have exceptional time-management skills
- Must have a valid Alberta driver's license and own means of transportation (travel allowance is provided).
