**POSITION TITLE**: Integrated Youth Hub Clinical Coordinator

**REPORTS TO**: TRC Executive Director

TRC is removing barriers and increasing access to health and wellness services for young people ages 12-24 with a new initiative, Integrated Youth Hub. TRC is making it easier for young people to find support in their communities by offering, integrated:

- Mental health care;
- Substance use services;
- Physical and sexual health care;
- Youth and peer support; and
- Social services.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Hub’s daily activities, oversees and coordinates all services offered in the Hub and ensures the seamless delivery of the core service streams. They provide clinical leadership and supervision to Hub staff and promote interdisciplinary services and collaboration to support the identified outcomes. They act as a clinical resource to staff, students and inter-professional team members, facilitate effective problem solving and promote collaboration.

The Clinical Coordinator assists in establishing priorities and coordinates work assignments and schedules. They interpret, implement and monitor policies, procedures and standards related to client care in person and possibly, in a virtual environment. They collaborate with TRC’s interdisciplinary team members, the backbone support team, other Integrated Youth Hubs, and health and community providers to ensure timely and seamless delivery of services. They identify, coordinate and promote evaluation, research and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the provincial backbone and research leads for IYS in NB.

The Clinical Coordinator participates in teams and/or local committees, internal and external case conferences and in the Integrated Youth Hub provincial network.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Collaborates in problem solving clinical cases, providing and/or recommending interventions, programs, resources and literature to promote continuity of care and effective treatment and resource utilization;
- Oversees daily workflow for walk-in counselling & monitoring caseload allocation where appropriate. Provides clinical support and supervision for walk-in counselling, with an emphasis on evidence-informed and culturally responsive practice;
- Emphasizes the importance of providing integrated services for clients.
- Acts as a resource for mental health and substance use issues, developing partnerships with other facilities, agencies and community resources to best meet client needs;
- Coordinates and leads the day-to-day Hub operations, staff scheduling and programming; and
- Provides day-to-day supervision to Hub staff and support to all members of the integrated service delivery team, working closely with TRC Executive Director, TRC program team, partner agencies and clinical supervisors.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Social Work and registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers
- 3-5 years of related experience in clinical specialty area; community addiction and/or mental health
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team setting, demonstrated leadership abilities and supervision experience
- Experience working directly with youth, and multiple partners in the care of youth
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is considered an asset
- Experience with developing policies and procedures and designing and delivering community programs
