**DEN MANAGER, INTERDISCIPLINARY PROGRAM **(Full-Time Permanent)“Despite great challenges we believe unhealthy cycles can be broken, new opportunities created and, through healing, health restored.”

Reports to the Senior Manager. The Den Manager will be responsible for overseeing the degree of care for community members in their assigned den using an interdisciplinary approach. They will focus on team leadership and supporting the Den’s caseload by ensuring all the keys steps are being completed properly for each community member.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Direct day-to-day operations of the assigned Den.
- Monitor and track goal progressions and successes within your Den.
- Support the Den in identifying skill development and refreshers for staff.
- Complete regular reviews of community files to ensure accurate case notes and documentation.
- Management of den space, including but not limited to, booking activities, supporting programs, and overseeing staff in the den.
- Lead routine meetings within your den and attend other meetings within the organization as needed.
- Assist the Program Coordinator in planning and delivering large scale events both within your den, and organization wide.
- Regularly review active caseload capacity and current waitlist alongside other den manager(s), senior manager, and triage/intake manager to update priority intake list for den trial/intake.
- Support all performance management within your program, which includes having regular supervisions with members of the team. Escalate performance concerns as needed to align with BSCS Policy & Procedures
- Work with Human Resources and Senior Management for all recruitment needs, ensure all organizational procedures are followed throughout the recruitment process.
- Schedule staff, review and approve staff timecards biweekly, ensuring accurate hours are submitted.
- Create accurate reports for the organization and funders when needed.
- Step into a client facing role as needed to support the Den’s success.
- Engage in administrative work when needed
- BSCS is more than a workplace. It is a community where everyone helps and contributes to the whole, and there is an expectation that all employees will take part in events (during the work week and occasionally during weekends and evenings). This includes fundraising campaigns, running community meals, medicine picking etc.

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Degree in a relevant field of study
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within adult programming
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory level
- Police Check with the Vulnerable Sector and Child and Youth Intervention Check completed within the past six months
- Valid First Aid certificate or enrolled in a future course
- Experience with and knowledge of Indigenous culture and ceremonies is considered an asset.
