Parkland School Division (PSD) is a large progressive school jurisdiction serving Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Fort Chipewyan and Parkland County. PSD meets the diverse educational needs of over 12,000 rural and urban students among 23 sites, including outreach schools and alternative education programs.

Copperhaven School opened its doors for the first time in September 2018 making it PSD’s newest school in the City of Spruce Grove. Home to over 700 students, Copperhaven’s modern 2-story design and innovative, bright layouts makes it one of the Division’s premiere facilities. It is located in the western-most region of Spruce Grove close to its city limits and boasts one of the largest gymnasiums in the Division home to a wide array of wellness and strong athletics programs.
The school community is very proud of its Choir, Elementary Band and Concert Band programs as well as a host of Extracurricular programs including the traditional sports, running clubs, a ski club, drama club and Leadership to name a few.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
Provide instructional leadership to our teaching teams to support the continued development of engaging learning environments for students, which includes effective assessment practices and activities that support student growth in Citizenship and Social Responsibility.
Collaborate with staff, parents, students and administrative teams from Parkland School Division to plan for the delivery of quality programs that are responsive to our students.
Manage and organize school routines and procedures that ensure a safe and caring school community.
Demonstrate creative, visionary leadership that assists our school community to provide meaningful, relevant educational opportunities.
