**We are currently searching for a Financial Analyst who will report directly to the Regional Controller and work from our Mississauga, Ontario office.** This position is responsible for pulling data from several databases and systems within the company and manipulating it into specific reporting formats. The data, reports, and trending generated are used for analysis of current operations as well as projections, forecasting, and models used to determine business strategy and resource allocation.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Prepare and review the monthly forecast and budget.
- Track capital assets for month-end reporting.
- Prepare finance data for property tax reporting and compare it with property assessments.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile the month-end balance sheet.
- Gather data and prepare various tax returns.
- Prepare labor, job costing, and other reports as requested.
- Analyze costs related to projects and communicate with Project Managers to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reports and financial statements.
**WHAT YOU NEED**
- 2+ years of experience in analysis or accounting.
- Experience in construction operations and job costing is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting or a related field.
- Clear understanding of financial processes, advanced proficiency in Excel, and experience with accounting software and its integration with IT systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proven collaboration abilities.
- Background in project-based accounting within the construction or manufacturing sector.
