JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the delivery of business initiatives to optimize customer experience, improve business processes, and increase operational excellence. Provides business analysis support to the Experience Division, which includes Business Solutions, Case Management Services, Claims & Benefit Services, Client Services, Marketing & Communications, Customer Services, and Employee Assistance departments on cross departmental projects and initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates initiatives by collaborating with departments to identify and scope business requirements, conduct analyses and problem solving, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business impact through improvements in efficiencies, cost, or customer experience.
- Aligns and improves of business processes to the Signature Experience and the Corporate Strategic Plan.
- Restructures and redesigns business processes.
- Documents and communicates recommended initiatives to department Managers.
- Tracks and documents business outcomes of these initiatives.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cross departmental projects by:

- participating in systems analysis and requirements gathering
- identifying and documenting system enhancement requirements.
- participating in the testing and re-testing of new or modified systems prior to final release and /or coordinating testing with other departmental users.
- participating in the coordination, communication, implementation and rollout of system enhancements.
- Develops, monitors and supports reporting on productivity metrics for the Experience Division.
- Develops, monitors and supports reporting on the Key Performance Indications for the Experience Division.
- Participates in corporate and departmental projects and initiatives.
- As approved by Manager, Business Solutions, initiate such personal and professional development, as may be required, to remain effective in this position.
- Other duties as assigned with the evolving vision of the organization.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
- Dedicated to the principles of exceptional service, committed to responding to, anticipating, and addressing customer needs, for both internal and external customers.
- Possesses, or has the ability and willingness to attain, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Post secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Analyst or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years’ experience in the insurance industry will be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Adaptability - able to adjust strategies, communication methods and direction based on team environments and culture.
- Innovative and creative approach to decision making.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Comfortable with managing and driving change.
- Clear and effective communication, report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong technical writing abilities or the ability to acquire such skills through external sources or training.
- Above average quantitative methods and mathematical aptitude.
